it's time to...

having recently started a weekend nights job, you suddenly find yourself with more free time during the week than you know what to do with. do you:

a) investigate different career paths, possibly by discussing some of the relevant issues with a career counselor of some kind?

b) try your hand at writing songs like you promised yourself you would do?

c) try doing something completely unexpected in the hopes of shaking things up a little?

when casey and i write songs, we'll come up with a chord progression and just keep "looping" it and i'll just start singing what starts out as nonsense, but eventually some good ideas come out and you take those and go from there. like brainstorming. and you can start out with "well i was walking..." as many times as you want, if that's what gets you started.

Am I imagining, or did the choices change order?

I like the idea of occupying the substandard with tasks and calling it "therapy". I guess if impulse purchase bulemia can also be called "retail therapy", having special people put the holes back into donuts that have stragely become rolls seems fair.

speaking of, has anyone read the book of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?" Wonka's not even mean, he's just kookie... this does not cancel the debate of Wilder vs. Depp. OK, that was a tangent
